I can't imagine what you're going through. I did, however, find this post lovely. I especially enjoyed your answer about the horse.

Interestingly, I can't imagine, either. Fortunately (I'm thinking), I don't have to since I'm here. I think my imaginings would have been much sadder and scarier than the real thing is. Holy isn't sad or scary.

um, if i might say, childbirth wasn't as I imagined either and is also most holy :-)
