This student of mine... First her computer crashed. Okay, she couldn't help that. Then for the first draft of assignment 2 she wrote it on the library computer and SAVED IT TO THE LIBRARY COMPUTER, despite the fact that they all have signs on them warning students that stuff gets deleted off the computers. I imagine my profs would have said something like "I advise you to be more responsible" and refused to help after the first incident :-P

the REALLY fun part was when she emailed me after i sent her her grade on the draft like, "I don't understand! how did i get a B- on the first draft and a D on the final draft??" and i'm like, "as I told all your flipping classmates when they ALL emailed me about this everybody in class before I graded the first draft, the first draft was graded on completeness. that means word count. which i had to do BY HAND on your draft because it was in hardcopy thankyouverymuch. TWICE."
