I've been out for the last week with no net access, so if there is anything I missed please link it here so I will be sure not to miss it

Took the exam this morning, so I'm now a certified PMP!

wonder how many sets of letters I can get after my name before it just gets entirely too pretentious? ;)

congrats! i've been thinking about doing that just for the hell of it...i already know a lot of the concepts, having done project management work a number of times in the past. just need to make it official. how much was it to get certified?

it's like $120 to join PMI and then I think it was $450 or so to take the exam

I also took a 4 day bootcamp course this week to prepare, which was another $2400

It isn't pretentious until it looks like the name plate in that old Monty Python skit. It started on the desk, went off the edge of the desk, followed the walls around the room and then stopped on the other side of the desk. It had a little hinge built into it so people could lift it up to get in and out of the room, because it blocked the door as well.

Now that's pretentious. Apparently, all the abbreviations on it were real. They didn't make anything up for it.
