...is dead.

And I will never be the same.

He's been having problems for the last two weeks, and it all culminated yesterday. My parents paid for a doctor to come to the house and put him to sleep. It was very peaceful, and I held him while it happened, and they carried him away in his favorite blanket...but he is gone. And I'll never see him again ( Read more... )

At least you were there for him when he passed on. He had a nice long life, and he went peacefully. Just...try to think of the good times.

I'm so sorry. That's so hard. When my cat died I just about broke down. I'm glad you were with him and that he's not in pain now.
