I just got back from a nice breakfast with a my friend Theresa. It is always good to have time with girlfriends. We chatted it up and I defended my coffee cup from being refilled every second by the waitress. I have no idea why they don't understand that refilling it when it's half-empty means they are messing up your coffee-cream-sugar ratio!

Ashley will be a Junior. She still wants to hang out with me and we talk all teh time about all kinds of things. We still have a VERY good relationship. Hopefully you and Rowan will be the same.
I think it has to do with us showing REAL interest in what THEY are interested in, being honest and open with them and that kind of thing.
My mom and I were never close, but you met her and I'm sure it's pretty obvious as to why ;)

Good to hear! Sometimes it is hard to show an interest when it is teen stuff, but I try. I am very honest and open with her. Sometimes she thinks I worry too much and express it too much though.

I am glad you and Ashley are close.
