Unfortunately, it doesn't usually matter if you're really careful about making sure that the man (or woman in some cases) can or does want you because things and feelings can change. You can find someone who is available and does want you and then things can change, you can grow distant or even start disliking the other person.

Relationships are a risk without a doubt, and it's entirely too possible to lose and wreck friendships with your significant other or your crush if the spark you held dissipates. Luckily for Ducky and I, while we no longer have the same relationship, we don't hate or dislike eachother at all. Quite the contrary, I still love her very much and she will always be my best friend.
