Real life took over (no matter how much I begged and cried and pleaded for it not to) so I haven't been around in a while. I haven't even read any fanfiction in a couple of months I've had so much other stuff going on

A murder mystery for a birthday party? Now that's a party I could get into. How do you even set something like that up? I would imagine it involves a lot of people. O.o
Sounds like tons of fun, though. Would be very interested in seeing the pics. ^_^
I can relate to the "reality-taking-over-life" syndrome. Though, I don't have finals until next week. And then I get to work as hard as possible and stress and ....
*raises glass* May you do uber-well on your last final, and raise your GPA by two points.
I don't need to raise my GPA, I need to hold onto it, LOL...so far I've managed to hang onto a 4.0, and now I'm terrified that I'mm screw up and lose it! Too much pressure! ^^;;
But good luck on your finals as well!
Murder Mystery parties are really fun...you can buy sets that will guide the story that is meant for a set number of people. Like ours was for six people...each character had a really crazy name and personality. Like I was Doc Mallard, My mother was Bibi Gunn, My sister was Sally Forth, My cousin was Miss Patience, my brother Rowdy Azell (that name was the funniest by far) and my brother-in-law was Juan Bandito. And we set up the house to look like a saloon and cooked a really country dinner. And either while or after you eat, the game guides you through the story and everyone gets to completely overact their parts and get laughed at. And of course, one of you is the murderer. You really ought to try it sometime! You can find the sets on E-bay.
I will try to get the pictures up on the net this weekend. ^_^
That sounds like so much fun. It's too bad I'm not a social person, or I'd have to organize a party just so we could have a murder mystery theme. I would so totally dig that.
Maybe that's what I'll get my brother for Christmas. The boy's a freakin' social butterfly.
Much want to see pictures. Please do to post. I promise I won't track you down and strangle you once I know what you look like. I'm not like that. Really. :P
Hey, found your LJ through the Z! forums, but I've read and enjoyed your fanfics long before that. Your Christmas-cat-chase was a hoot! I totally got a kick out of it.
