Aw, this is so beautiful. Like you said to pandoraculpa, I'm sure Winry is going to keep her promise to Ed, but I'm so glad you decided to explore what would happen if she didn't. I've been imagining different scenarios and even toyed with the idea of writing something myself, but secretly I was hoping you'd get there before me. ^_^

This fic is so sweet. Even though I don't think it will happen like that in canon (though I wish it would) everyone was so in character and it read really like something from canon. The atmosphere, Ed's reaction, the dialogue... all perfect! I LOVE it!
