Nope, I gave up on film a while ago. My heart is actually set on graphic design. It's definitely what I want to spend time doing in college.

And that's terrible.
I didn't know SVA was so stingy, who told you? Do you know of any recent graduates from DASH that go there?

i don't know of any recent grads but i know that sva is stingy because well i went to precollege, and so i met seniors who were going to apply, and they did get in [i talked to them later in the year] but they barely got any financial aid, plus i used to read the sva community [lj.com/community/sva_edu]

examples:

etc.

but nice choice, it's a great school for graphic design.

i got into SMFA and SVA but im at Massart now and i really like it alot. You shoudl apply here if your worried about money and shit, massart tuition is 15000 first year and then once you gain residency it is 5000 which rules. Also i live in the same building as SMFA students and they kind of suck alot. They are really stuck up and snotty about the fact that they go to museum school and whatnot. ifg you have any questions you wanna ask me about the school feel freee.

ahhh
I forgot about Massart. I'm definitely applying there, too. Though, I remember that when I was researching mass, it came off as really conservative and strict. Is it true? Do they force you to take math/science? And oh yeah, do they have Graphic Design as a major there?

noo way, actually Massart is SO conceptual. Not strict at all. Their graphic design department is awesome also. ALOT of work though. You have to be realyl seriosu about it. I was thinking about double majoring in GD and Photo and everyone tells me its impossible because Graphic Design is so much work. they dont make you take that many academics. You have to pick between a Science class or a math class in all 4 years. It rules. its Pass/Fail classes so its cool.

I have to worry about money. I'm paying for my own damn college because my mother can't help me at all. It's all very depressing, I know, but I'll talk to Hans about my situation and see what he says.
