I read an article that says that the use of the word "refugee" to describe the hurricane victims is being banned on newscasts because it sounds "racist". Today I feel like listening to Bjork and knitting and drinking raspberry emergen-C.
Except my mom wants me to do all this productive stuff that's so overwhelming that just thinking about it makes me want to go back to sleep.

Yesterday was a 10-hour thrillgasm, especially when it rained.

I have had terrible emotional extremes today. And I'm afraid that the happiness and exhuberance I expressed was just a lie to myself to hide my disappointment.
