Yea, I had to buy one for photography a couple years ago and it was around that.
It was my Christmas present, though, so it wasn't so bad =X

yea my b/f cory said my mom should have paid for it as a christmas present but i don't really get christmas presents since i get stuff whenever i need it like for school or something so i just bought it for myself with a couple paychecks

500 is a good price. i got mine for the same price 4 years ago :P of course NOW its worth about half of that, but its still just as good.

yea, had to go with canon this time around. i've heard too many good things about them and finally gave them a shot. i'm excited!
