There are very many melodies of sunrise, Raags Lalit, Vibhaas, Deskaar, all varieties of Bhariav, all varieties of Todi, Asaavari and others. The moods are varied too - contemplative, meditative, elated, poignant at the passing of the night (and the departure of the beloved).
