I read this article about sperm donors today. there was one guy who donated at a Fairfax sperm bank who was apparently very desirable (there was a WAITING LIST for his sperm!!!) and he fathered many many children whose moms are now getting in touch with each other. anyway, the part that sickened me was that the "PhD/MD/JD" sperm donors get like $ ( Read more... )

I'm reading this book called "What Really Happened to the Class of '93", about the 1993 class of TJ 10 years after they graduated. It focuses on 20 members of the class and describes their recollections of who they were then, what they've been up to since then, etc. The book is kind of poorly written, so I think the only reason I find it ( Read more... )

after 3.5 years here, I can constantly feel bad about how poorly i've done something or how little I've done, but I'm too tired, unmotivated and cynical to do any better.
