Yes, I know. I like to go back there and just reminisce about the time when Inception fans were more active filling those prompts. I'm on tumblr now mostly and there are a lot of great prompts there as well as people filling them, but they're not always easy to find, at least for me.

Makes me feel vaguely guilty for one longfic I still haven't finished yet, even after three years, because of all the newer shiny ideas. Tho if there are any good ones you want to point my way... *hides*

Lol, yes the nostalgia. Though, I was a bit misleading in what I wrote. I didn't actually wade through the meme, it was more of a ramble along the edges. On a whim I visited the last page (or latest page) to see if anyone was still posting. The prompt I filled was dated of June of this year, and I thought, you know what, if someone is still lurking around here, knowing that it's basically empty but maybe still holding out hope, I'm going to fill that prompt. So that's where that came from.

I actually have a short list of prompts I wanted to fill from the meme (which I'm not sure I'll ever get around to), but like you said, there are others out there and in spaces more visible to more people. I probably will venture back through the meme, revisit old ghosts, as it were :)

When I finish through the short list of fics I currently want to work on, maybe I could go through it. Or finally finish my genfic. ::facepalm:: I almost don't care about the worry that my idea for the ending is trite, I just want it DONE. :D

Oh. my. god. This is hilarious. I love the ending.

Now I feel bad because I looked at that prompt the other day and wrote like half a mini-story and couldn't figure out the ending. XP

Aw, don't feel bad. And I think if you can find your way to finishing it, you should post it. A prompt can never have too many fills ;)

Also, I'm a bit ashamed, because I said I should be working on the piece I'm writing for your art but I wasn't X0

I am working on it, it's just such a big piece in my head and I need to keep it more simple if I want to finish it on time.

Hey, I think that if it's that big, sometimes taking a break from it helps you get back to something with a better perspective. I also call that "Damn it, why do I get my brilliant ideas in the shower and then can't put them on the page once I'm out." XP

(I also happen to randomly wade through the inception-kink meme. Or just poke at the edge sometimes, like you do. Mostly because I got into Inception really late. There's still a lot of great prompts there, unfilled. XD)
