I wish we had a strong leader...

Well, it's September 11th, and I think people are forgetting what happened. The real tragedy is that the man responsible still hasn't been brought to justice, because our president refuses to follow up his words with action. He claimed a few days after Sept. 11th that anyone harboring terrorists will be considered our enemies, and yet, we invaded ( Read more... )

I agree with Luke. In my opinion, this stuff you say will happen may happen, but there is still a big chance that it will not. Who is to say what people are going to do? We don't know how people are going to react to anything we do in America, and we have to deal with it and live our lives knowing that we don't whether these countries are going to leave us alone or not. But living in that fear isn't helping anything. Nor is blaming all our problems on George Bush. Does it seem odd that Americans loved him when September 11th happened and patriotism was through the roof, but now in a time where patriotism is needed, people hate Bush for everything? Some support group we have here in America. There is no reason to blame Bush or anyone else for all the stuff you listed that he is responsible for. All we can do is pray that God keeps us safe. First off, you should leave your name, 'cause there aren't very many people on the internet who actually use proper grammar. You're a rare breed. Too bad for all your grammatical, errr, correctness, you fail to comprehend the point of my initial message. My point is that the American system of government is seriously flawed because of this dual-mindedness that we have in this country. Democrat vs. Republican. It's freaking pathetic. We have people in this country that didn't even consider Kerry for President because the Democratic party is for abortion. So, the Republican party can throw pretty much anyone up there for President, and he'll probably get elected, only because the Deomcratic party is in shambles. It's completely messed up, and we're seeing the effects now, and we will continue to see the effects until we get someone strong in office that can steer our country back to supremacy. It's not exactly hard, our gross national product is astronomical. See, this is called the subtext of my original message, and I really shouldn't ( ... )
