I know how you feel, darling. I think you're just nervous. Most students don't know what they want or where they're going, and it's okay to fear the unknown. I think all the options you raised sound lovely, but why choose? Go for everything. Apply to grad school and look for job opportunities in Japan. There seems to be a lot of rivalry over teaching jobs in Japan atm, for obvious reasons, but who knows what the market will be like in 2010? I say, keep everything open. You never know what might come next semester. :)
Good luck, gorgeous. I'm sure you'll succeed no matter which path you'll choose.
That seriously made me feel much better. I know I'm being silly and my life won't end if I make the wrong choice at 22 but it's so easy to get caught up in it. While I'm still freaking out, this really did calm me down a little and I really appreciate it. ♥
2. Teach English in Japan for a year or so on some temp program, come back to the US for grad school to get a stronger degree then go back to Japan for a more permanent job with a fairly strong resume, perhaps teaching at Sophia.
3. Become a script-writer.
4. Be the official Guinness-pouring girl at Irish pubs.
