Yeah, I imagine I can handle a household with 3 girls and me. We really thought it was going to be a boy, but I'm really happy to know either way, and excited to have a little girl, and certainly think she's beautiful already :) Now's just the long haul through the second half of the pregnancy. I'm sure I'll get more and more impatient waiting for October to get here.

Haha, sure she does ;) Oona's mom actually said the same thing, that she has my profile and my upper lip. Dunno, I find it hard to imagine having a little thing that shares my features, much less a little girl that looks like me. It's going to be funny to see how little her and Xander look like each other. They may share some features, but we'll probably have one little curly brunette with brown eyes, and one little straight haired blonde with blue eyes. It'll be very interesting to see the personality differences though.
I am certainly hoping to be able to have a positive influence on my children's music tastes. Her hearing recently developed, so I've tried to make sure she gets exposed to a wide variety of the essential music. My 3 year old step-daughter is already a big fan of They Might Be Giants, and will dance and dance to most anything with a good beat, so there's a good chance I'll manage to have a family of avid music fans.
It was quite amazing to watch her little heart beat, see her yawn and move about, suck her thumb, kick and roll over. It makes it all very real and wonderful to know what's going on inside the growing belly and what she's up to when we feel her bump about. Though it certainly also lends to the impatience for her to grow and be ready to come join us. Being a daddy I sometimes feel that I'm left running circles around the momma, going "What's she doing what's she doing what's she doing is she awake?" But, I'm sure she'll be worth the wait, and the lifetime of amazement, love, and the whole range of emotions parents are put through will surely make this nine months seem like no time at all. :)
