People at work were flying off the handle about Bush and Roe v. Wade today. The wackos on the subway had their shout-fest this morning.

I must say, for the final time, Roe v. Wade is not, I repeat NOT, going to be overturned. If you know ANYTHING about how our court system works, or how precedents are overturned, then you'd probably see that. ( Read more... )

The Tenth Amendment is often overlooked and dismissed. For instance, I'm sure many people don't know that since buying alcohol is a priviledge, not a right, that the legal drinking age is a state law, and not a federal one.

I'm sure that at least one state would ban it.

And most likely the states that need it.
