Because it represents an excellent melding of two cultures as they clash, incorporating interesting aspects of them both in a brilliant romance about the idea that even the noblest of rulers and protectors is not impervious to trickery, deceit and destruction yet that there can be hope. I also like the notion that it is possible to actually have a golden age where people can be free of tyranny. You know what else is neat? The idea that the health of the land is tied to its ruler, an existential link between the land he is destined to govern and protect and the ruler himself.

In addition to it being stupid and destructive, its based on sophistry and playing games with defintions of words and then pretending like its profound.

I used to play this instrument. I haven't in ages because a) I was never really very good and b) I never learned properly so I was constantly frustrated by my inability to do what I wanted to do with the instrument.

As much as I'm enamored of myself I'm also enamored of my ability to overcome ridiculous odds and be triumphant in even the most asinine of arguments. - powering up:
The notion of actively and throughtfully accumulating all of ones power before performing an activity is inherantly amusing.
Also amusing is the act of calling out "Power Up" while picking up a power up ball in the Sega Genesis game "Altered Beast".
