With work taking up all of my free time last week (had a proposal due on Friday and of course we do everything last minute *rolls eyes*), I figured that if the internet had exploded, I wouldn't have noticed until Saturday. *pouts*

Then I did nothing but watch TV this weekend. I hate doing nothing at all on my weekends, but I was just so lazy. ( Read more... )

HELLO!!! :) I got your parcel *tackles* Thank you sooo much! *more hugs*

I'm all about the happy sigh for the gay oldskool Stargate *happy sigh* Haven't had the could-be-botheredness to write anything up - maybe before next week I'll get something.

I'm capping it right now, I'll try and get you Vala saluting :)

Everybody hated the ending - I didn't mind. I figured, the more of that they had, the less of the teamness offworld they could have, and that was all too goodly!

:P

*hugs*

I know how you feel! Writing up that long ramble took all day, 'cause I went for naps and tv watching every ten minutes, lol. It wasn't my first time watching that ep, though. And I couldn't stop yawning from being so tired. *yawns*

Wee! Thank ya, babe! *vbg*

Everybody hated the ending
Really? I gotta start reading up the flist. I'm looking forward to seeing what others have said about this ep. (*crossing fingers for getting a chance to read over lunch*)

I've got 15 minutes to get ready. *sighs* And I have no idea how this week will be like, 'cause we have another proposal due this friday (think essay with pictures, lol). Work is for wussies. *nods*

Have a wonderful lazy day, Stephi! *snafuggles*

Okay... 10 mins. Eeep!

Okay, so she just might be cautious, but I'm still not seeing the reason behind sleeping beauty being the first to get infected. *shrugs*

They first found the parasite in the dirt sample from the cave where they found the soldier asleep so maybe that's why they made the leap to assume that he was the first?

As for why it's a parasite and not a bug... it's kind of both. Anything that invades another organism; in a harmful manner; and lives off of it is considered a parasite but in this particular case that might have been a n'natural' stage of its evolution and it would have *Shudder and ick* emerged at stage from the host to live out the rest of its life as a bug but the unfortunatel hosts died before their life cycles were complete or something. No telling what ultimately would have happened....

Ok there's my geek moment lol

But they went to go check the sample after the first guy fell asleep. They decided to look there because sleeping beauty was "obviously" the first infected. :)

Does that include dirt? 'Cause that's where they found the little microbug. *shrugs*

Oh, now that's just gross! *squicks* I so do not want to think about what would happen if it moved out of its victim's body.

Ok there's my geek moment lol
Yay for geek moments! *vbg*

Luffs you and your episode commentary too.

I thought the lizard was, you know, lizard-size until I saw its tail poking out from under Teal'c's arm.
