How do I get an A+ in English at college, but I had a C in high school....?

I can guess, but I dont even want to throw off my good karma right now.

it takes absolutely no skill to get english grades here, seriously.

the lowest grade i got in comp II on a paper or anything was a 97.

it's sad.
