I'm coming to the realization that nobody can 'fix' me. "Help" implies that the person being helped is also doing some of the work. For some reason, though, I've been expecting outside forces to somehow cure me, while I just get to be a passive recipient of said cure. But there is no magic cure, no pill, no quick or easy fix. Close, but I was looking for a cure with the adjectives "magic," "instant," "easy," or something synonymous. Yours lacks adjectives altogether.

"Magick" is not "easy", though it can sometimes be "instant". Though, you're completely right. While others can offer moral support as help, they cannot "cure" you. Only you can. I have been struggling with thoughts very similar to this. My dilemma overall is that I feel that I have no purpose. At least no purpose as defined, outlined or realized by me. The reality is that we all have some sort of purpose, realizing just what that is can be very difficult. This is where the True Magick comes into play. The exploration of ones self is generally a long and difficult journey. I underwent such journey over 10 years ago and I'm still in it with ultimately years more to go. I wish you well on your journey. ;-)
