Well after a major hiatus on livejournal, a relocation of the journal/blog to myspace until I decided facebook was better and less clunky interface, I've decided to come back to LJ to see what's new and has changed since back in the dark ages as a beat user here

Hello again! The Russians bought LiveJournal and there's a regular bemoaning of things to every official LJ News post, but the latter is no different than five years ago.

I'm still living with the guy I moved in with in 2004, although things have been tough lately with him having a bunch of scary neurological symptoms we're trying to find the cause of and treat. My kiddo is in 3rd grade and loves our neighborhood school. I'm trying to get more into quilting but needlework keeps calling my name so I turn up NPR and try to ignore it. (:

Being a "slight celebrity drag queen" sounds fun!
