We experimented weaving strips of reed together today in sculpture. One of the interesting ways to bind the reed is to wrap the intersections with...hog gut. Yep, we used actual pig intestines. It is generally used for sausage casings, but apparently the stinky, slimy tube things work like string to hold stuff together. mmmmmmmmmm. Anyone have
