So I almost died today. Tire blow-out on highway 290, swerved to the left, barely avoided oncoming traffic, swerved back to the right, hit a guardrail, flew over a four foot wide three feet deep ditch (like a bird), and landed in a gas station parking lot. I just got a spankin' new cell phone. It's black and silver and sleek and sexy and has a camera and is pretty much the most balling thing in existence right now.

It really is too bad that I have no bloody idea how the damn thing works. Oh well.

School starts again tomorrow. Gag me with a lead spoon.

Marisa (the little sib) got accepted to the MAC Fine Arts Academy to play violin. Seems her audition went super, and she got her letter today. I'm such a proud big brother.

I got a letter today from AIB saying that if I get accepted I don't have to pay the application fee or send any letters of recommendation. It also seems that I get a $1,000 scholarship. It just totally made my day so much better. Thank you pre-college program ( Read more... )
