In addition to running the math club this semester, studying to CLEP out of macroeconomics, taking 3 high-level math courses, and practicing piano like a maniac, I have been applying to math REUs across the country. I haven't in a while. I've been so busy with the things going on in my life that I haven't made the time for it. Considering that a lot of those things have been rather incredible of late, I sometimes wish I had wrote about it more. It's so easy to let things slip through your memory, interesting events, people, and places. I don't want to forget.

Now, why do you ask?

It's quite an odd thing, actually. I do this thing where I match up LJ users (not in a romantic way, but in a "these two people should know about each other" way). I call it "Pairs," and when I see someone with very unique traits that match up with someone I know who has those same traits, it's as if the conduit and the plug in the dark suddenly fit and the lights come on ( ... )
