I've taken pictures for over 15 years, of nature in the bay area, sacramento, modesto, and yosemite.

one of my friends is a network security consultant, and i ask him questions to keep me in the know for my level and maybe a little more.

i haven't gone to but one con in maybe 9 years, but i'm planning on going to another one in the next few months. (i don't know which, yet, though, nor what i'll be doing at it.)

beyond that, i'm also working on improving my certificate level for water treatment. i'm not in that field yet, however. right now i sell electrical materials.

I'm not wild about chocolate - sometimes I want it, but not often. I especially hate it when it's cold - hard pieces of chocolate in ice cream, for example, I always eat around or spit out. I just don't like the way it crunches.

When I was in High school, we had a video homeroom announcement. In my sophomore year, the guys running it got canned and I was chosen to be the new announcer-- I was the safe, establishment guy. When I showed up the next year with spikes on my wrists... they took the gig from me :)

I've never been particularly thrilled with decorating for yuletide. I'm told that stringing lights on a tree and all is supposed to be heartwarming and all, but it's always seemed more trouble than it's worth.

I'm not a huge fan of doing it, but I like looking at it. I'm not a fan of the season, but I like shiny things, and lights are shiny :)

1. I was arrested out of a high school summer class for refusing to stop writing swear words on my homework.

2. I have sung at Carnegie Hall.

3. I lived in the former Soviet Union for six months, returning home just prior to Gorbachev's kidnapping and the USSR's subsequent collapse.

4. I won the state championship spelling bee when I was in the 7th grade, but washed out in the nationals on "orangutan."
