I logged into LJ for the first time in ages specifically to read something somebody pointed me at...

Since I'm almost never here anymore, I've unfriended a bunch of people, to make my list more manageable. Nothing personal to anyone... but I haven't been reading LJ for months anyway.

I lost the LJ habit while I was in Ohio, and have only recently been making the effort to read stuff here. I try hard to log on at least once a day.

But almost no one seems to be posting here anymore...

No problem, I've been swamped with stuff myself and have only been posting really sporadically. I always liked you but nobody's social circle is infinite!

*does not take it at all personally* Thanks for posting about it, I always like a check-in to the effect of "gee, I hope I didn't say something that horribly offended someone..."

And I've been wondering if it's feasible at all to stay OFF the internet for some months and, like, write people letters or something. But since the university uses an online homework system, I think I'm screwed. :-)
