America's Suitehearts~

Requested by caricature. i'm hoping for something sort of sweet, like them being married or engaged and looking back 3-5 years at how they got together. Sort of flashbacks, maybe?

"Anything else you'd like to add and maybe tell your fans?" The interviewer asks the couple who are currently cuddling with their best friends sitting next to them.

"Jack and I are getting married," Alex says nonchalantly. He holds up Jack's left hand, showing off the diamond ring with pride.

Rian and Zack both jump up, staring wide eyed at the two. "What!?"

"Are you serious?" Rian asks, disbelievingly. "Why the hell didn't you tell us about it!?" Zack nods feverously in agreement. They're both on the edge of their seats, staring at the two like they're aliens.

Jack looks at both of them with a bright smile, squeezing Alex's thigh with his right hand. "He asked me like, two days ago. Chill out." He continued to admire his ring, smiling saccharinely at Alex. The older boy smiled back and kissed his fiancée's cheek once.

"Wait, so why did you give Jack the chick ring?" Zack asked, grabbing Jack's hand to get a closer look at the ring. Rian walked over and looked over Zack's shoulder.

"'Cause he proposed to me," Jack said cutely, beaming over his ring and his fiancée. The band has completely ignored the interviewer, who abruptly leaves with her answers without saying anything.

"And 'cause I have the bigger dick," Alex says with a laugh, earning a jab to the stomach from Jack. Alex grins goofily as he tightens his grip on his fiancée's shoulder.

Rian snorts and looks at his band mates, "It's a good thing you didn't date Zack then. He'd have your dick beat." Zack frowns at Rian who sticks his tongue out, "You know it's true, though."

Jack nods, "Definitely. Zack has Alex beat any day." The three of them burst out laughing from the look on Alex's face, a combination of disappointment and sadness. "Don't worry baby, I still love your dick just the way it is." Jack pats Alex's leg reassuringly.

"TMI," Rian says as he gets up to leave the room with Zack following. "We should go out tonight..." the two boys hear before Rian and Zack are out of hearing distance.

"I'm glad you chose me over Zack," Jack says happily, not bothering to get up or move from his spot.

"Of course I'd choose you. You were way cuter anyways and you were a lot less likely to beat me up if I got you angry," Alex laughs and kisses his fiancée's forehead.

"I like you a lot Jack," Alex slurs out, completely drunk. "I've liked you since I saw you. Except when we were 7, I didn't think of you like that. I like you way different now, though. You have no fucking clue, dude. I like you so much that I think I'd take a god damned bullet for you. No joke."

Jack can't help but smile, even if he's only buzzed, this is what he's been waiting for. He's been waiting years to hear those words, that Alex likes him. Alex Gaskarth likes him. "I like you, too," Jack says, louder than he planned, but he doesn't mind one bit.

He also doesn't mind the way that Alex presses his lips against his.

"You're a sucky kisser when you're drunk, you know that?" Jack asks affectionately. Alex knows that he's not being rude or bitchy from the kiss that he gives his fiancée. The older boy isn't complaining from the way that Jack's tongue slips into his mouth, circling the roof of Alex's mouth. "But it's worth marrying you."

"You were the cutest thing when you said yes," Alex says with a kiss to the younger boy's nose. He pulls him closer, just holding him and taking in the silence. It's something to treasure when with Jack.

"I just want you to always be with me, okay?" His words seem rushed, but it's only because he's nervous. Jack can't figure out why, but he knows because of the way Alex's hand shakes and sweats. Alex pulls his hand away, digging it back into his pocket, "So..." he trails off, not finishing his sentence.

Alex looks at him, locks eyes with him, so many emotions running through his eyes. He sinks down, getting on one knee before pulling a small velvet ring case out of his pocket, "Jack Bassam Barakat, will you marry me?"

Jack stares at him, barely able to comprehend what he's asking. He knows what he's asking since it's pretty straight forward - one knee, ring, the word 'marry'. The younger boy can't even tell if what they'd be doing could be considered marriage because they're gay and isn't it just 'being joined' or some stupid shit like that?

He doesn't even realize he's crying until he hears Alex saying his name over and over again. Jack wipes his tears away, choking down the lump in his throat before choking out a gurgled, "Yes."

"I love you, Jack."

"I love you too, Alex."
