None of my friends live close enough to give me a ride and I hate bothering them. :( If my uncle comes home today he can take me, but I doubt he is because he's a priest and he usually has a lot of stuff to do on the wekeends. :( Basically, nope. I only have my mom and a cab if I wanted to call one. Unfortunately since my clinic & the hospital is 45 minutes away a cab would cost me $100. (50 there & 50 back) She just doesn't seem to think anything is an emergency anymore.

This will make you both feel better.

Go to a pharmacy and use the BP monitor. If it's high, then you win, you need to go to the doc asap. If it's normal, then just wait til the appointment.

From about 30 weeks on I had SEVERE swelling. However, my BP stayed normal. So nothing was amiss.

Random question do you have the what to expect when expecting book?
