I suggest trying out the Playtex Nurser system. I've used it with both of my kids. its a hard plastic bottle with soft plastic liners. the soft liners contract when milk is sucked out, so its close to breastfeeding. my kids have never had "nipple confusion". if you want to breastfeed, and you're not right now, just pump milk and save it for when you can. i had to pump my milk for both kids because neither was getting enough from the breast.
just my 2 cents.
good luck with everything!!!

I spoke to a lactation consultant and she said that I could breastfeed with the asthma medications I'm on. YAY!! I'm gonna probably get a pump tomorrow. Let's just see how she does with the formula feeding until tomorrow. She's on a roll and I don't want to change what's going on.
