My darling and friendly parents occasionally ask me things like "What TV have you been watching? Read any good books lately?" and though these are fairly straightforward questions, my brain is pretty much a bowl full o'jelly this time of year and I can only manage a stutter. I illustrated a bunch of shoes in ink and watercolor a few days ago. It was the first time in a long time I'd had a moment to myself to quietly watch The Walking Dead and doodle. Work has been madness, so a moment of cuddling with ink and splashy child-paint was very calming. Here are my painted foot-darlings:
