I came across your journal when looking at journals of people who went to my schools, and you were the only SBU'er close to my age and (I'm assuming) not a conservative Christian. So I wanted to read more.

You assume correctly. The essence of my being is one that does not jive with that belief system, despite past efforts on my part and others. I'm okay with that. Knowing that I am far from the model alumnus and you still want to read more...then yes, I will add you.

We are pretty similar in that regard. And I would like to borrow your phrasing when trying to explain to people that I went to a Southern Baptist college, but don't swing that way. I was much more amenable to it at the time ... couldn't do it again.
