Rant - a list of things you had better have done before you get all green on me
Ive had enough of hearing this enviromental crap from everyone in the public eye. If you want to change the enviroment there are things you can do BESIDES complaining to me.
1.Drive an economic car, I had better never hear anyone who drives an SUV bitch to me about the war in Iraq or drilling in Alaska.
2.Buy in bulk - I know that the name brands don't come in bulk all the time but this is something you are complaining to me about so you had damn well better take a hit for the team.
3. Minimize eating or buying products at places that use alot of wrapping. Yes this means that the starbucks run is just plain out, along with fast food and those yummy hostess snacks.
4. Only eat essental foods- It may be hard to believe but coffee and tea arn't that important. To farm them takes a good amount of land that could be forest, stick with one grain and keep vegitable and fruit consumption to the recomended amounts dont over eat anything. And while im on the diet subject the same goes for any food, eat only the portion alloted you by the food pyrimid.
5. Give up unessisary electronics - creating electricity creates polution using your cellphone computer and ipod are helping to add to the amount of consumed energy, every little drop.
6. Don't be afriad to lose your job - If it helps the enviroment then dont do your job, who cares if you cant find another one or if you have spent your life doing this, we are talking about the enviroment. After all the environuts are plenty happy to tell ranchers and farmers that they are a strain on the enviroment and that they need to be shut down.
7. Minimum clothing - try to keep clothing practical too, fassion may look good but you should really save the fabric for more conservitive and economic clothing, dress to live not the other way around.
8. Protest in words only - where the hell do you think giant paper signs come from? Those trees that you are working so hard to protect also made the big sign your just going to throw into the garbage afterward.
9. Organic farming is not the be all end all - Organic farming produces less product for more land. In other words, if all farming was organic we would need more land to make the same amount of food. so shut your stupid hippie mouth because organic isnt going to save the enviroment at all.
If you don't get in peoples faces about how the government is ruining the enviroment, and how everyone else should change, then you can just ignore this list.
