Hello, Angela. I enjoyed reading your intro on the Creative Writers welcome mat -- that is, after I scrolled down past the instructions on how to make an LJ cut (which I haven't mastered yet). I'm also new to the Creative Writing group and just tried to post a story BUT it only showed up on my page, so I'm sure I did something wrong. But, your bio said you spent time in Scotland. I've begun researching the Orkney Islands (and Scotland) in the 1850s as that's the setting for my current story, though I've never been there. I'd love for you to read my story if you'd like and to post comments. Either way, hi from bluebethley and welcome!

Kitty..and the photo in the icon is just some random model I saw on-line who reminded me of the ghost I saw, who told me her life story, which I'm trying to turn into a novel...have been trying for years...this is the 3rd serious attempt...

do you ever read my chapter postings?

Very sporadically-- the degree doesn't give me enough time, and when it's a choice between writing and reading others' work, writing wins out far more often. (Although I know that reading other's work makes me more sensitive to what i'm doing wrong.)
