When Winry woke up she was in a hospital bed. At first she felt disoriented; she had no idea how she had gotten there. The last thing she remembered was being upset...
She quickly sat up and shoved the sheet off of her. Winry winced and lightly touched the side of her head. There was a dull pain there but besides that, nothing else seemed wrong.
Anxiety began to creep over her. Something had to have happened. She really couldn't remember anything. One minute she was talking, the next she woke up here. It was still daylight outside...how much time had passed?
She swung her legs over the side of the bed and after taking in her surroundings found her communicator on a side table. Knowing something was definitely wrong she turned it on, hands shaking.

[It takes her a few moments before she speaks, and when she does she sounds very hesitant and unsure of herself.]
Edward? Al? I...
[Trails off for a moment, feeling almost embarrassed.]
What happened?
