Tween poetry

This is a question for missrachael, though if anyone else has any good responses, you're welcome to chime in.  sofarfrom78 is looking for some tween poetry for her son, and not having an easy time of it.  Do you have any recommendations?  Her entry is here.

Tried to leave a comment there, but she doesn't allow comments from those not on her FL.

Anyway

Carol Ann Duffy has a lovely collection for kids The Hat and also edited a fantastic collection Overheard on a Saltmarsh which has modern poets picking their favourite kids poems, and adding their own.

My son also digs Wendy Cope who writes a lot of funny sardonic verse, and Roger McGough, who also does amusing stuff.
