There's a song in there that's in a combination of 4/4 and 9/4 time. 9/4, not 9/8, as far as I can tell (definitely no triplets). This is heady stuff for adults. I'm glad my kid's getting a taste of it.

Happy birthday to the upside-down schwa.

We need to get some kind of digital video camera. Anyone have any recommendations or warnings, or generally know what to look for? Right now, the planned use is standard parental stuff -- short videos of the baby to send to family. In the long run, we may want to take longer video as well.

I wish Santa would bring st_sardonicist this for Christmas, even if it *is* vegetarian.  I wish I found out about it sooner.
