A Start Of What's To Come
Some classmates and I are putting together a student magazine for the Art Department because frankly the school paper sucks COMPLETE ASS. >_>_ Ahem. Anyway. >_>_
I've been put in charge of the Comics section and I thought I'd produce something new for it. ^-^
So presenting here is a vera quickly slapped together page:
This was rendered in less than three hours. And it shows. @_@ There's no backgrounds at the moment and I measured the freaking panels wrong. @_@ I am dumb. x.x;;;;; Oh! And no dialouge right now since I need to put that in with Adobe Illustrator or Quark Xpress at school. >_>_
Baaaasically to explain what's going on here is the two characters Locke and Celeste. Poor Locke is a victim of spousal abuse at the hands of his 'Ever So Perfect' girlfriend.... No matter what he does he just can't win. But he'll wake up as the story goes on. ^-^
The series they come from focuses on the lives of four couples, each inspired by real life situations be them my own or things I've read in the paper or seen other people do. I felt this is a way for me to work through some of my own demons as well as speak out on topics that people know exist but never talk about. Anyway... it proves to be VERY different from my pet project Fates Duet. >_>_
