It's alright to post this kind of late, right? ;-; I totally forgot about doing this earlier...
Still, I thought it'd be nice to see my progress, so~!
So, June was Iris!
That started off with some beach babes...
(Maeve, the doctor)
(Nova, the werewolf and indentured servant)
(Ayra, the naga and bounty hunter)
(Dizzy, mechanic from Angel Dust xD)
And just lots of sketches and concepts for characters!
(Nova)
(Corryn, the failed-angel experiment)
(Seth, the half-blood angel and main character)
(The Hunter gang: Asher, Phelan, and Ayra)
(Raguel, the hybrid Demon/Vampire)
(More of the Hunter Team (being adorable))
(Eire, the synthetic Angel half of Iris)
(Eire, going a bit psycho)
(Rheis, the synthetic Demon half of Iris)
(And some indecisive scribblings-around for their outfits)
Asher (left) and Seth (right)
(Headsketches for Rouka the Centaur)
LIneart and shading for Seth, casting Sigology! Probably my favorite piece of the month. :)
A watercolored Asher to go with...
...And a Raguel as well to round out the set. xD
And some reference portraits of the Demis, in this batch starring:
Ayra the Naga
Rouka the Centaur
...And my (still sadly) unnamed mermaid! And creation myths, too!
Otherwise, some other random stuff I did this month included a Tales of Symphonia fanart for the HD/remaster Unisonant Pack announcement~
...And gratuitious fanart of
devonition's Benny (female!)... because I have a huge crush on her... ;-;
(And a Sarati (below) as well, because she's super-badass too.
Aaaaand at some point a watercolor landscape as well I believe.
And ahhhhhh I think that's about all! Overall a super-satisfying month, lots of character designings and such going on, and fairly relaxing as I was on vacation for half of it in China. Also led to a smallish breakthrough in Iris regarding ending scenes and justifications for some of the plot, which was just the best feeling ever. <3
I've been a bit slackerly in my anatomy studies this month or general art studies (I have a pile of art books I need to read hahahah), but I did improve on my watercolors some, particularly in terms of painting skin, that I'm really rather proud of, so~!
