i should be revising but instead i went to central london to see Tarnation. great movie. is everything true? 'truth is the new fiction they say'.
i also booked my plane tickets paris/dublin for july.

what else can i do that would prevent me from revising but that wouldn't make me feel guilty????

Sons and Daughters e-card?

But that probably would make you feel guilty.

James read a critique of Tarnation that argued that some of the scenes in Tarnation can't have been real - the likelyhood of having a camera was slim. I don't know...I haven't had the chance to think about it yet. Good luck with revision...it's almost all over!

did he read that in a newspaper or online? because i would love to read it. i also think that having a camera ready to roll just when something important happens was a bit unrealistic sometimes.

good luck for you too!

I'm not sure that the film even needs to be 'true' in order to be effective. It's about emotional and psychological truths also, I suppose.

By the way, Jonathan Caouette has a 9-year-old son who he excluded from the film for personal reasons. Not sure how I feel about that.

I read it in Uncut, there was a short interview with him. He seems really cool as a guy. He reminds me of some of my friends.
