Scones!

Rob and i went to this wonderful place called the gryphon tea room on our honeymoon..we went there almost everyday for tea, which was good, because the hot tea was pleasant since it was FREEZING outside. DID SOMEONE SAY TEA AND SCONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are a few great mixes at British Pantry....yes....SCONES.

I make some cherry scones, if we can plan this tea, I will bring the scones.

Most grocery stores still sell sugar cubes. When I went to England they told me that putting the cream in first and then the tea is the "working class" way but I understood that this was not a bad thing.

Speaking of England... They have Cadbury Egg McFlurries at McDonald's and Cadbury Egg vending machines...

How romantic it must have been, having tea dates! And how delicious :) It does sound like fun and coziness to have a get-together like that at home, too. Shonda's comment has intrigued me to look up recipes for cherry scones, now-- I love cherry pastries :)

I know I've seen sugar cubes in regular grocery stores, so it shouldn't be too difficult for you to track them down!
