So, I did a tarot reading for myself & this is what I got.

This is what I got right after shuffling. Using the spread Christine showed me & uses a lot.
9
7 6 8
2 3 1 4 5

These are the cards I pulled as "clarifiers" for other cards.

Ok, so the way I usually read this spread:
1 is always who yer doing the reading for, so in this case it represents me.
2 & 3 is either what's supporting you, or against you.
4 & 5 is either what's supporting you, or against you.
(The support side & against side change in every reading depending on the cards.)
6 is the path the person represented by card 1 will most likely take to get to the outcome.
7 is how 2 & 3 manifest.
8 is how 4 & 5 manifest.
9 is the most likely outcome.

The problem I'm having with the reading is that I'm really not sure which side is supporting me, or going against me. I always have problems reading for myself.

Here's what I got:
1. The Fool-- This card is the complete oposite of the Devil. The Fool isn't bound to anything, he has everything he needs in the bag hanging from the staff, he's free to do whatever he wants. New beginings, infinite possibilities. The Fool can be childish & naive. If he doesn't listen to the dog barking at his heals he's going to fall off the cliff.
2. 5 of Pentacles (Reversed)-- I can't decide what I think this means when it's reversed. Christine usually doesn't read cards reversed. I do most of the time. When it isn't reversed I always think of being on the outside looking in. Christine has said that it makes her think of doing a shit job that you don't like, just to get by. The way she sees it seems to be more from the woman's perspective, & the way I see it seems to be more from the photographer's. Altho, I guess the way Christine sees it can apply to both the woman & the photographer. I don't know how to take this reversed. Being on the inside looking out? Not even having that shit job to get by?
3. The Heirophant (Reversed)-- Some one untraditional, a rebel, etc.
4. The Emperor-- I've always seen the Emperor as a father figure, or authority figure. He's angry-looking in this deck, ready to give some hell.
5. The Hermit (Reversed)-- I'm not sure how to interpret this card when it's reversed; not reversed, it represents the lonely journey you take to find yerself.
Clarifiers: Justice (Reversed)-- Lack of justice. Being fucked over, treated unfairly.
Queen of Pentacles-- This card reminds more of the the Rider-Waite version of The Empress than it does the QoP. She seems motherly & earthy. But it is a pentacle card, which always relates to money. Motherly & earthy with her finances under controll? She doesn't seem to be overly concerned with the pentacle.
7 of Wands (Reversed)-- This card reversed can only mean 3 things: the end of a struggle/obstacle, past obsatcles, or worse obstacles.
6. 4 of Cups (Reversed)-- Cups mean emotion. The person in the picture is being handed a 4th cup, when they already look like they've had enough. I've also interpeted this card as actual drinking, which makes me think of a hang over. Jackie told me once that it makes her think of some one trying to get you wasted so they can take advantage of you, which make sense, but probably not in this reading. Since it's reversed, instead of just swallowing that last cup of emotional bullshit, you say no.
7. The Tower (Reversed)-- This is never a really a good one. It's usually something pretty bad, sometimes life-changing. I read somewhere when it's reversed it means that the event represented by The Tower is linked to The Devil, I forget which book that was in.
Clarifiers: Judgement-- Altho I've never been entirely sure what this card means, it always makes me think of rebirth.
6 of Cups (Reversed)-- Memories, since the card is reversed, bad ones. Remembering a place or time you don't want to go back to.
8 of Pentacles (Reversed)-- A boring factory job, but yer making decent money...but I don't know what to think of it when it's reversed.
8. King of Cups (Reversed)-- The moodiest man in the deck, but honestly I'm not sure what it means reversed or upright. When a King or Queen is reversed, it always makes me think of them losing the title of "King" or "Queen", being taken down off their thrown.
9. 3 of Swords-- This card always makes me think of going thru a really rough part of a personal journey. The banner makes me think of a sign that says "Welcome to the 3 or Swords, this places sucks." The skulls belong to others who have hit that rough patch of their journies & gave up, or failed. But the person on the horse looks calm & determined, willing to ride thru the storm & has everything he needs to survive it.
Clarifiers: The Devil-- Being emotionally, mentally, or spiritually bound to something. Vices, addictions, etc.
Page of Wands-- A message. The gesture he's making says to me "Excuse me, I have a message for you." He looks like a mime, which is just now making me think that it's not a message some one actually tells you. Maybe body language? Maybe something implied? Also, this guys is packing some serious heat in his pants. Maybe he's saying "Excuse me, would you like to fondle my package?" Wands=fire=sexual energy. So, I guess it's possible.
Queen of Wands (Reversed)-- I've never really been able to figure out what this card means, but I don't like it. The womans seems so blank, boring. When a King or Queen is reversed, it always makes me think of them losing the title of "King" or "Queen", being taken down off their thrown.

Opinions, anyone?
Christine, I know you can sum this up for me.
