The imagery here is gorgeous, the color references, the way Rodney stands alone in the art, head tipped down. And I loved this:

She's the light and dark with the soothing sky-blue voice.

In one line, you painted a whole character. Amazing. *glomps you both*

The last line... so John. The whole monster under the bed thing was so them and meant to represent several things. I'm very glad you enjoyed it and I think the art was just a perfect match with the story.
