 To prove to myself that I wasn't a wimp AND because my knee is being a total BITCH today (after trekking to the U District and back) I managed to drive about 8 blocks to pick up my CSA box.

Holy fuckin crap I bareLY made it ... got stuck twice and was sliding all over the place. kimosammy would have had to have me killed.
I don't know about  Tacoma tomorrow

Awwww...well if there's any way you can make it to the Kirkland Transit Center around 2pm tomorrow, you can join us for Chinese and a movie! Another LJ user, GloriaJN (I can't use the damn formatting) is busing over from the U Dist. too!

It's been Xmas tradition for Nick and I for well over 20 years.

We got power on again a little while ago, after spending the afternoon heating the house with and reading by candles. We called Seven Sea's Chinese Restaurant and they delivered, bless them. The guy had to walk up the damn snow-filled driveway and our hill isn't easy to drive on - I gave him a ten buck tip. Luckily halfway through chowing down - that warm food was awfully good in the cold and dark - the lights came back on again.

Since I'm already down with bronchitis, that's enough adventure for me, thank you.
