I understand what you mean about the ads. A lot of people from LJ have migrated to DreamWidth where there are no ads, even for the free basic accounts. If you can use LJ you can use DW -- it was started by previous LJ programmers. Check it out at Dreamwidth.org

Ok... I started a new account. It is artykat - please find me. I know we used to be able to transfer LJ Accra/journals to DW but I don’t know how now. Also, I want a paid account so I can use all the great icons you made for me and more but I cannot Figure out HOW to pay for it! I don’t understand the point system. Can you help?
