I only use my phone to talk. I have texting blocked on my cell phone. Whenever I have to get a new one the cell phone guy always looks at me like I'm nuts when I say I don't care about texting, internet, or camera on my phone.
exactly, we actually had to sort of argue with the cell phone people to convince them that we didn't want it. We just wanted a phone, I have a much better equally small camera that I can take pictures with whenever I want to. If I don't have it with me, I didn't really need the picture anyway, that is what a memory is for.
You are not alone. It's not that I don't like the idea of texting. Being able to send a quick blurb to multiple people, or responding to said blurb for that matter, is kind of nice. Just don't use it as you ONLY method of communicating with me. My thumbs are that fast, and I don't have a QWERTY keyboard on my phone. Mostly, it's other peoples cell phone habits that annoy me, not my own.
