Every time I see a copy of this book I want to set it on fire, for multiple reasons.

I'm still sort of fond of some of the things on your list, though for many of them it's in a "Gosh, this is getting really tiresome...I think I'll drop the actual series and just keep reading fics and collecting fanart instead!" way. I fully admit to an occasional weakness for things with mecha, though. XD

Oh, I know! I just hate it when my students from Japanese class don't listen to me no matter how many times I tell them "I'm not into Bleach." I don't even ask for recommendations for anime, and they keep pushing... Otaku people!

The things that make onto the bestseller list make me wonder how they make it there... then I realize that people (majority of people out there) love them for whatever reasons. I just have to accept that I'm not one of them. XD

Mecha...I'm the generation that grew up with them, you know? It never appealed to me when I was a little girl and they still fail to appeal to me. LOL

Mecha - I'm not into it either, but would you say something like Cowboy Bebop is mecha?

Me too!!! I pretty much hate everything in that list except for Bleach (admittedly, the anime is not great, but the manga is still pretty good) and maybe the Thai food, just because I like to eat stuff and tend not to say no to any food as long as it isn't some strange organ/part/rotten etc...

...oh god, I hate Dancing with the Stars. D8 It doesn't even seem like a dancing competition to me, as much as a competition to see which girl can wear the skimpiest outfit (and so, I usually call it "Dancing with the Sluts" XD;).

To be honest though, I don't really like the "dancing" that much. I guess thrashing around on stage in skimpy clothes is in style now... You're probably much more stylish than any of the people on that show.

Oh, and I read The Da Vinci Code, and I thought it was interesting, but there was a lot about it that annoyed me D8 I don't hate it, but it's really not the best book ever.

I used to see this chiropractor who was an adult ballet student of mine and she didn't believe in paid TV (satellite), so her favorite show was "Dancing with the Sluts" LOL. And while she worked on me, she'd gabber on about the episodes and used to drive me nuts... That was all she ever talked about... and updates on her eHarmony prospects. LOL I didn't need to know... didn't want to know. XD

Haha, that's kind of like my grandma XD She doesn't buy satellite TV either, so she's stuck watching all those awful "reality" shows (which probably aren't all that real, half the time).

lol I'm pretty much with you on everything 'cept the anime. I'm very hard to displease where anime is concerned. There's not one I've seen that I absolutely abhored... well, that's not true. There is one that I wish I could get my time and life back on. ^_^

But yeah I can't stand American Idol or any of those shows. I have a Facebook.. but never use and don't even remember the password to it lol also dislike Myspace.

I was into MySpace for about a year and got bored. And that was before I came over to LJ and dA. I never liked Facebook much.... I thought the "look" was really bland and boring. I'm with you... I don't remember the passwords to either any more. XD

I've never had nor will I ever get a MySpace. lol It's waaayyy too over the top for me. Yeah I couldn't get into Facebook. I only got one because someone begged me to. But I never did anything with it lol Hence the reason my password wasn't stored in my memory lol
