My DSL is alive!  I'm back to the land of the living and coming out of the fog of insanity that I suffered while I had no internet... for 5 days.  FIVE DAYS!

Gah, I didn't realize that I'd be so depressed without it. XD

Mountains of messages everywhere except for LJ.  Hmmm.  *heads back to dA for cleaning*

When I went to Japan for a week, I thought I'd miss internet, but I was so busy doing other things I didn't mind it either. :D

I got kind of grumpy at first. Felt deprived. So it was like I was suddenly on a diet that I didn't want to be on. Then, I got mad at the lousy service. Then I got sad that I couldn't get in touch with my buddies or share my drawings. Then, I also worried that what if I had assignments piling up that I should know about. (Note how low in the scheme of priorities "work" came in... I don't know how to feel about that. LOL)XD All in all, this was something I would rather not experience again.

Yay! Glad you're back, and that you're okay--like everyone else, I was starting to wonder what was up.

I'm happy it wasn't something more serious, but internet problems really are wretched. Whenever my cable modem stops working I start to feel like all the oxygen has is slowly disappearing from the room. XD

Normally, I don't mind automated phone stuff when I dial the customer service, since I don't use it that often, but when you finally get directed to a real person (...why with such a thick accent I can barely understand!) and he/she's still not much of a help...

The internet is the drug that sustains us; and we fear two scenarios; a) internet outage b) power outage...

My recent internet problems also left me navigating those stupid automated phone systems every night for a week, worst thing is when you finally get to the end of all those automated questions but then when it says it will transfer you and it doesn't and all you get is SILENCE...and after you do it all again, we also get those bad accents over here and I love how when they don't understand your problem they just say "I'm sorry madam, but I can't help you..."
