I agree on the fanart, though--it's always such a pleasant surprise to find an artist who's flexible enough to play around with their own styles and ideas, while capturing enough of the characters that your brain still recognizes them instantly. :D

I've been looking, but nothing catches my attention for something new to watch or read. I'm not even able to commit myself to a full rendering of a 'doodle' lately. lol All I've done are quickie sketches that I can pump out in 10 min. a piece. XDD

Yes, when one goes looking for a new series it rarely seems to work, does it? You just have to wait for them to blindside you at very inconvenient times. XD I do hope something interesting comes your way soon, though; being in a creative slump is terrible.

I have original characters and other things to draw, so it's not so much a slump for me, but I felt bored looking at posts after posts that only offered icons...over at the phantomhive comm.

I do, however, think that there could have been more storytelling thrown into that chapter as well. She didn't really have to kill the entire circus cast off in one chapter, leaving a couple of them hanging for a while would have worked much better.
...and I couldn't agree with you more about the originality of the fandom ): I'm sick of icon posts. I'm working on a drawing myself, it's going to be a parody of the "extra" covers on the inside of the books... you know how she always draws them in the same pose as the cover, but in a sillier outfit? It's one of those, but I won't spoil the surprise yet. XD
